By the time you read this, either electronically or from the mail, MPACT will be wrapping up. God has done some wonderful things. Salvation, Recommitment, and Ministry Service calls have been received from students and that is a blessing. It makes the work put into the event well worth it. I’d like to thank Faye Lewis, Ricky and Teresa Smith, Brandon Justus, James Tarrance, Candi Rodgers, and Mary Kay Young for all their help in serving not only our students, but the students of Ouachita Parish.
I am also excited about Verge and The Core starting next Wednesday September 8th. Verge is the new worship service for students. Verge will begin at 6:15 p.m. in the Upper Room and will include our student worship band, preaching, creative elements, and opportunities to come to Jesus. I am excited! The Core is a new college student/young adult fellowship/Bible study. Come and share what’s on your heart or what God’s doing in your life in this low-key but intentional time. The Core begins at 7:30 in the Upper Room.
