Sunday, August 9, 2009

“There is a way which seems right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” (Proverbs 14:12 AKJV)

There is only one right way and that is God’s way. Make sure you are on His path.

Monday, August 10, 2009

“Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all you lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.” (Psalms 100:1-2 AKJV)

Are you happy about serving the Lord or are you just going through the motions? Serve the Lord with a joyful heart and you will be blessed beyond measure.

Tuesday, August 11, 2009

“And said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” (Luke 24:46-47 AKJV)

It was absolutely necessary for Jesus to die and be resurrected so that we could be saved from Hell to eternal life in Heaven. Everyone needs Jesus.

Wednesday, August 12, 2009

“And the children of Israel remembered not the LORD their God, who had delivered them out of the hands of all their enemies on every side:” (Judges 8:34 AKJV)

Have you forgotten God’s goodness to you? Take time to thank the Lord for all He has done for you. You will be glad you did.

Thursday, August 13, 2009

“You that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserves the souls of his saints; he delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.” (Psalms 97:10 AKJV)

Those who love the Lord will by necessity hate evil. Do you hate evil?

Friday, August 14, 2009

“The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.” (Psalms 95:5-6 AKJV)

God is awesome and worthy to be praised. Look around you and see the glory of His creation and take time to worship our great God.

Saturday, August 15, 2009

“He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?” (Psalms 94:9 AKJV)

We can’t fool God or hide from God. He knows all about us. Think it over.

Sunday, August 16, 2009

“In the multitude of my thoughts within me your comforts delight my soul.” (Psalms 94:19 AKJV)

God can bring peace to your life in the midst of all kind of circumstances. Let Him lead and guide your life and thoughts.

Monday, August 17, 2009

“Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.” (Psalms 108:12-13 AKJV)

Real lasting help can come only from the Lord. Isn’t it time you gave Him all your life?

Tuesday, August 18, 2009

“The world cannot hate you; but me it hates, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.” (John 7:7 AKJV)

This is why many hate Jesus. They can’t stand the fact that He is holy and therefore condemns sin. Jesus will never change His standards to be pleasing to sinful humanity.

Wednesday, August 19, 2009

“A soft answer turns away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.” (Proverbs 15:1 AKJV)

Be kind. Speak kindly. This will eliminate a lot of heartache for you and others. Think it over.

Thursday, August 20, 2009

“He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” (Psalms 107:20 AKJV)

God can speak peace to your life and circumstances. Read the Bible and find His answers. He knows what is best.

Friday, August 21, 2009

“Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the enemy;” (Psalms 107:2 AKJV)

There are too many profaning the name of the Lord and not enough praising His name. Change the trend. Praise the Lord and let others know how wonderful He is.

Saturday, August 22, 2009

“It is the spirit that vivifies; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63 AKJV)

Life will come to mean so much more when we walk in the Spirit of the Lord. We were made for God by God.

Sunday, August 23, 2009

“Truly, truly, I say to you, He that believes on me has everlasting life. I am that bread of life.” (John 6:47-48 AKJV)

Do you want eternal life in Heaven? Repent of sin and place your life in the hands of the resurrected Lord Jesus. He is the way to Heaven.

Monday, August 24, 2009

“Righteousness exalts a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34 AKJV)

Why do nations go bad? Here is the answer. It’s not the economy; it’s our lack of morals. Think it over.

Tuesday, August 25, 2009

“And they served their idols: which were a snare to them.” (Psalms 106:36 AKJV)

Serving anyone other than the Lord and His ways will always come back to bite us. Think it over.

Wednesday, August 26, 2009

“Then spoke Jesus again to them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” (John 8:12 AKJV)

Are you tired of walking in the darkness and deceptions of this world? Come to Jesus. He will lead you to truth.

Thursday, August 27, 2009

“But the LORD said to Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7 AKJV)

What does God see when He looks at your heart? Think it over.

Friday, August 28, 2009

“And Samuel said, Has the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.” (1 Samuel 15:22 AKJV)

Our love for God is shown by our obedience to God. We can go through the outward motions and our hearts not be in it. Be real. Obey the Lord because you love the Lord.

Saturday, August 29, 2009

“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come to me, and drink. He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:37-38 AKJV)

Are you tired of living a life with no passion and purpose? Come to Jesus. He is the One who can give you abundant life and eternal life.

Sunday, August 30, 2009

“But our God is in the heavens: he has done whatever he has pleased. Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.” (Psalms 115:3-4 AKJV)

There is only one true God. He is the God of the Bible. Worship and serve the true and living God.

Monday, August 31, 2009

“I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep.” (John 10:11 AKJV)

Jesus did give His life for us on the cross. He really loves you and me. Let Him be the shepherd of your life.

Tuesday, September 1, 2009

“The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10 AKJV)

Jesus can give you life worth living. Commit your life to Him.

Wednesday, September 2, 2009

“Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith.” (Proverbs 15:16 AKJV)

Wealth will not bring you happiness. Fear God and you will find the real treasures of life.

Thursday, September 3, 2009

“Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.” (Proverbs 15:17 AKJV)

Love is what makes a house a home. Speak with love and serve with love. It will make a wonderful difference in your home.

Friday, September 4, 2009

“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work.” (John 9:4 AKJV)

Jesus sought to make the most of His time. We should do the same. Don’t put off what you know to do. Do it now. You may not have tomorrow.

Saturday, September 5, 2009

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed; And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31-32 AKJV)

Real freedom can come to us if we know the truth and live by the truth. If we don’t, we will be in bondage to lies and sin. Think it over.

Sunday, September 6, 2009

“You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and stayed not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” (John 8:44 AKJV)

Telling lies puts people in bad company. Love the truth or you will pay dearly for believing the devil and his lies. Think it over.

Monday, September 7, 2009

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give to them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” (John 10:27-28 AKJV)

Real Christians follow Jesus with their actions as well as their words. Following Jesus brings real security now and for eternity. It is great to know the Lord.

Tuesday, September 8, 2009

“I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice and my supplications. Because he has inclined his ear to me, therefore will I call on him as long as I live.” (Psalms 116:1-2 AKJV)

God is faithful. Pray. See what He will do in your life. You too will come to love Him.

Wednesday, September 9, 2009

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19 AKJV)

This is a great promise. Surrender your all and your circumstances to Jesus and experience the wonder of this promise.

Thursday, September 10, 2009

“Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that you have sent me.” (John 17:20-21 AKJV)

The love of Christians for one another is a wonderful testimony of the reality of the love of Jesus to cross barriers of difference to bring a Godly unity. Praise the Lord!

Friday, September 11, 2009

“Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6 AKJV)

There is only one way to Heaven. Jesus is that way. If there was another way why would God allow His Son to die a cruel death on the cross? Think it over.

Saturday, September 12, 2009

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” (Genesis 1:1 AKJV)

This is God’s world. We are His creation. We are made in the image of God. God has a plan for your life.
