“But the LORD
shall endure for ever: he has prepared his throne for judgment. And he shall
judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in
uprightness.” (Psalms 9:7-8 AKJV)
This life is not all there is. We will all face the Lord one day. Are you
ready? Surrender your life to Him today.
Monday, April 7, 2008
“And every one that hears these sayings of mine, and does them not,
shall be likened to a foolish man, which built his house on the sand:” (Matthew
7:26 AKJV)
Knowing God’s Word and doing God’s Word are two different things. Real
Christians do the will of God. Failing to obey the Lord has terrible
consequences.

“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon
and the stars, which you have ordained; What is man, that you are mindful of
him? and the son of man, that you visit him?” (Psalms 8:3-4 AKJV)
We are so small compared to the rest of God’s creation and yet He has chosen to
pour His love upon us. Jesus loves you. Praise the Lord!
Wednesday, April 9, 2008
“Enter you in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad
is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads to life, and few
there be that find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14 AKJV)
Getting to Heaven is no easy task. We must give our lives to Jesus and Him
alone. He is the only way to Heaven.
Thursday, April 10, 2008
“And you shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that
endures to the end shall be saved.” (Matthew 10:22 AKJV)
Salvation from Hell is no cakewalk. The world will hate us and we will need to
persevere through tough times. However, remember Heaven awaits us and not Hell.
Praise the Lord!
Friday, April 11, 2008
“My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary
of his correction: For whom the LORD loves he corrects; even as a father the
son in whom he delights.” (Proverbs 3:11-12 AKJV)
God’s people will be corrected by the Lord. This shows us that we really belong
to Him. Are you a child of God?
Saturday, April 12, 2008
“Honor the
LORD with your substance, and with the first fruits of all your increase: So
shall your barns be filled with plenty, and your presses shall burst out with
new wine.” (Proverbs 3:9-10 AKJV)
Give
to the Lord and He will give back to you. You can’t out give the Lord.
Sunday, April 13, 2008
“And as Jesus passed forth from there, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting
at the receipt of custom: and he said to him, Follow me. And he arose, and
followed him.” (Matthew 9:9 AKJV)
This is the Christian life. We follow Jesus. Are you a Christian?
Monday, April 14, 2008
“And he that takes not his cross, and follows after me, is not worthy of
me. He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my
sake shall find it.” (Matthew 10:38-39 AKJV)
Being a Christian is more than just saying your prayers. It is a commitment to
Jesus as the Lord of your life. When you do, you will find real living.
Tuesday, April 15, 2008
“And fear not
them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear
him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matthew 10:28 AKJV)
God is to be feared. The destiny of your soul for eternity is in His hands.
Commit your life to Him today.
Wednesday, April 16, 2008
“Whoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess
also before my Father which is in heaven. But whoever shall deny me before men,
him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 10:32-33
AKJV)
Christians are not ashamed to be a follower of Jesus. Are you a Christian? Tell
others about Jesus.
Thursday, April 17, 2008
“The fool has
said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable
works, there is none that does good.” (Psalms 14:1 AKJV)
It truly is foolish to deny the existence of God. We are living in His
incredible universe. Think it over.
Friday, April 18, 2008
“Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy
laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke on you, and learn of me; for I am
meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest to your souls.” (Matthew
11:28-29 AKJV)
Your soul can find rest and peace when you come to Jesus. Why are you waiting?
Come to Jesus now.
Saturday, April 19, 2008
“These things have you done, and I kept
silence; you thought that I was altogether such an one as yourself: but I will
reprove you, and set them in order before your eyes.” (Psalms 50:21 AKJV)
God
is not like you and me. He is holy and His standards do not change. We must
repent of sin and plead for His mercy and forgiveness. Don’t underestimate the
Lord.
Sunday, April 20, 2008
“For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to
establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves to the
righteousness of God.” (Romans 10:3 AKJV)
Our good works will not get us to Heaven. We must go to God and ask for His
salvation in Jesus. Without Jesus people will spend eternity in Hell.
Monday, April 21, 2008
“Whoever hates his brother is a murderer: and you know that no
murderer has eternal life abiding in him.” (1 John 3:15 AKJV)
Have you broken the sixth commandment? You must face holy God. Only He can
deliver from that terrible Day of Judgment. Repent and ask for His forgiveness.
Tuesday, April 22, 2008
“So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear
what man shall do to me.” (Hebrews 13:6 AKJV)
God can give you the courage you need. Trust Him and do not fear what others may
think.
Wednesday, April 23, 2008
“Wisdom is
the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all your getting get
understanding.” (Proverbs 4:7 AKJV)
Wisdom comes from the Lord. Read your Bible and He will give you the
understanding you need.
Thursday, April 24, 2008
“So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come
forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the
furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew
13:49-50 AKJV)
Hell is a real place. All of us are wicked and in desperate need of God’s
forgiveness through the sacrificial death and glorious resurrection of Jesus.
Give your life to Jesus.
Friday, April 25, 2008
“Again, the
kingdom of heaven is like to a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when
he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and
bought it.” (Matthew 13:45-46 AKJV)
Being a Christian means that we cherish Jesus more than anything else. Are you
a Christian?
Saturday, April 26, 2008
“The law of
the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure,
making wise the simple.” (Psalms 19:7 AKJV)
God’s
Word is not just helpful, it is perfect. It leads to life abundant and life
eternal.
Sunday, April 27, 2008
“The heavens
declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handiwork. Day to day
utters speech, and night to night shows knowledge.” (Psalms 19:1-2 AKJV)
Creation
shouts that there is the Creator. This world is no accident and neither are
you. God made both.
Monday, April 28, 2008
“This people
draws near to me with their mouth, and honors me with their lips; but their
heart is far from me.” (Matthew 15:8 AKJV)
Words are powerful but they are not enough to get you to Heaven. You must have
a changed heart.
Tuesday, April 29, 2008
“And the
times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commands all men every where to
repent:” (Acts 17:30 AKJV)
The Lord demands that we change our ways. We must turn away from sin and follow
Him. If not, we will spend eternity in Hell.
Wednesday, April 30, 2008
“For your
name’s sake, O LORD, pardon my iniquity; for it is great.” (Psalms 25:11 AKJV)
God will forgive your sin if you repent and follow Jesus as your Lord and
Savior. He can lift the burden off of you. He paid the price for you on the
cross.
Thursday, May 1, 2008
“But it shall
not be so among you: but whoever will be great among you, let him be your
minister;” (Matthew 20:26 AKJV)
Real greatness is defined by service. Jesus set the example that we all should
follow.
Friday, May 2, 2008
“But Jesus
beheld them, and said to them, With men this is impossible; but with God all
things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26 AKJV)
God can do the impossible in your life. He can save you from an eternal Hell to
eternal life in Heaven. No one else can do that for you including yourself.
Give your life to the Lord today.
Saturday, May 3, 2008
“But Jesus
said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come to me: for of such
is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 19:14 AKJV)
Don’t get in the way of children coming to Jesus. This is especially true for
their parents. Parent, bring your children to Jesus.
Sunday, May 4, 2008
“Then said
Jesus to his disciples, Truly I say to you, That a rich man shall hardly enter
into the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 19:23 AKJV)
Materialism and riches give a false sense of security to people. One day all
that will be gone and you will be standing before the God who created you and
sent His Son to deliver you from Hell. What then? Give your life to Jesus now
before it is too late.
Monday, May 5, 2008
“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalms 23:1 AKJV)
The Lord can take care of you now and forever. Follow the Good Shepherd.
Tuesday, May 6, 2008
“Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you think not the
Son of man comes.” (Matthew 24:44 AKJV)
Jesus is coming back. Are you ready? It could be today.
Wednesday, May 7, 2008
“Why they are
no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man
put asunder.” (Matthew 19:6 AKJV)
Marriage is sacred and should be treated as such. Many ills of society would be
cured if marriages followed God’s plan. Think it over.
Thursday, May 8, 2008
“And Jesus called a little child to him, and set him in the middle
of them, And said, Truly I say to you, Except you be converted, and become as
little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew
18:2-3 AKJV)
Pride has no place in the kingdom
of God. We must be humble
and we must place total faith in Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Have you entered
into God’s kingdom?
Friday, May 9, 2008
“Again I say
to you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they
shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where
two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the middle of
them.” (Matthew 18:19-20 AKJV)
There is tremendous power when the people gather together for prayer in one
accord. Be sure to be in church and prayer meeting. God has great things He
wants to do through His people.
Saturday, May 10, 2008
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
(John 3:16 AKJV)
God loves you. His Son, Jesus, died on the cross for your sins. He and He alone
can save you from an eternal Hell. Give your life to Jesus right now.
