“What time I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do to me.” (Psalms 56:3-4 AKJV)

Don’t fear. God is near. Call to Him and let Him lead you and give you peace.

Monday, November 19, 2007
“Labor not to be rich: cease from your own wisdom. Will you set your eyes on that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.” (Proverbs 23:4-5 AKJV)

Money talks and many times it says “good-bye”. Put your faith in God. He is always the same and He is near. He can do what money could never do for you.

Tuesday, November 20, 2007
“And he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest on me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9 AKJV)

Life can be hard but God’s grace will sustain you. Lean on Him and lean on Him now.

Wednesday, November 21, 2007
“For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.” (Isaiah 9:16 AKJV)

Leadership is an awesome responsibility. If you are a leader, seek the counsel of God. People are counting on you.

Thursday, November 22, 2007
“And one cried to another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.” (Isaiah 6:3 AKJV)

God has been and will always be holy. His people should reflect His holiness.

Friday, November 23, 2007
“Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the middle of a people of unclean lips: for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.” (Isaiah 6:5 AKJV)

Does your language need an overhaul? Let the Lord give you a new and kind vocabulary.

Saturday, November 24, 2007
“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” (2 Corinthians 11:14 AKJV)

Satan can make evil look so right, but he is a liar. You can’t trust him. Put your faith in God and His Word, the Bible.

Sunday, November 25, 2007
“The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that does good.” (Psalms 53:1 AKJV)

Don’t be a fool. Look around you. God is on the throne and He rules His marvelous universe.

Monday, November 26, 2007
“Woe to them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20 AKJV)

People go stupid when we leave God out of our lives. We live in such a day today. May God have mercy on us. We need His help and we need it now.

Tuesday, November 27, 2007
“Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.” (Proverbs 23:23 AKJV)

Truth is so valuable. Listen to it and obey it. It will give you great peace and hope.

Wednesday, November 28, 2007
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long–suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22-23 AKJV)

Walking with God brings wonderful benefits. Your heart can be filled with the qualities listed above.

Thursday, November 29, 2007
“Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:” (Psalms 103:1-2 AKJV)

Count your blessings and thank the Lord for His goodness to you. God is good.

Friday, November 30, 2007
“Listen to your father that begat you, and despise not your mother when she is old.” (Proverbs 23:22 AKJV)

We need a revival of old-fashioned respect. Will you lead the way?

Saturday, December 1, 2007
“A little leaven leavens the whole lump.” (Galatians 5:9 AKJV)

Little things can have a profound influence on us. What little things have you allowed into your life?

Sunday, December 2, 2007
“Because your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you. Thus will I bless you while I live: I will lift up my hands in your name.” (Psalms 63:3-4 AKJV)

Take time to praise the Lord. He is deserving of all our praise and more. He is so good to us.

Monday, December 3, 2007
“Trust in him at all times; you people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.” (Psalms 62:8 AKJV)

Are you trusting the Lord all the time? Don’t just trust Him on Sunday. Trust Him right now and the moments afterward.

Tuesday, December 4, 2007
“Now to him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, To him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21 AKJV)

Nothing is impossible with God. Hold that thought. Now, apply it to your situation.

Wednesday, December 5, 2007
“Thus said the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.” (Isaiah 44:6 AKJV)

There is no vote for God. He is the One and Only. Put your life in His Hands.

Thursday, December 6, 2007
“For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9 AKJV)

Good works will not get us to Heaven. Jesus is the only way. Do you truly know Jesus? Jesus is God’s gift of salvation. He died on the cross for our sins.

Friday, December 7, 2007
“If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:” (Psalms 66:18 AKJV)

Sin blocks our access to God. Confess your sin and repent. God wants to hear your prayer.

Saturday, December 8, 2007
“Fear you not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your God: I will strengthen you; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.” (Isaiah 41:10 AKJV)

Do you feel weak and discouraged? Call out to God and let Him give you the help you need.

Sunday, December 9, 2007
“But they that wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31 AKJV)

Waiting on God is not wasted energy. He has a plan. He knows what we need and when we need it. Wait on the Lord.

Monday, December 10, 2007
“The grass withers, the flower fades: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.” (Isaiah 40:8 AKJV)

You can count on God’s Word, the Bible. It is the Word of God. It is truth.

Tuesday, December 11, 2007
“For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he puts down one, and sets up another.” (Psalms 75:6-7 AKJV)

This is God’s world. He is in charge. He will take care of His own.

Wednesday, December 12, 2007
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19 AKJV)

The riches and grace of God are beyond measure. Give your need to the Lord and wait on Him.

Thursday, December 13, 2007
“I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13 AKJV)

God can do through you what you can not do for yourself. Have faith in God. Obey Him. He will provide.

Friday, December 14, 2007
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 AKJV)

Tell God where it hurts. He can give you the peace you need when you tell Him all about it.

Saturday, December 15, 2007
“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.” (Philippians 4:4 AKJV)

Joy can be our constant companion when we get our joy from the Lord. He never changes and therefore we can have a joy that is always constant.

Sunday, December 16, 2007
“For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.” (Jeremiah 2:13 AKJV)

When we turn our backs on God we live lives that are barren and dry. Return to the Lord. He will give you the fountain of living waters within.

Monday, December 17, 2007
“Before I formed you in the belly I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you, and I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:5 AKJV)

Life begins in the womb. You are no accident. God made you in His image. He loves you and has a wonderful plan for you.

Tuesday, December 18, 2007
“But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.” (Philippians 3:7 AKJV)

Things cannot compare to the privilege of knowing the Lord. Do you know the Lord? If so, you know what Paul is saying.

Wednesday, December 19, 2007
“I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears on them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke, they did not hear: but they did evil before my eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.” (Isaiah 66:4 AKJV)

People who reject the Lord will live in fear. They should. They have profaned the God who made them.

Thursday, December 20, 2007
“For all those things has my hand made, and all those things have been, said the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at my word.” (Isaiah 66:2 AKJV)

Every person is God’s creation but only those who follow Him are His children. Are you a child of God?

Friday, December 21, 2007
“Why God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:9-11 AKJV)

Jesus is Lord and there is none other. Everyone will one day confess it. Are you ready to meet the Lord?

Saturday, December 22, 2007
“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:21 AKJV)

This is the Christian life. Are you a Christian?
